“Under the Blue of the Moon” is a post-apocalyptic joy ride capturing the lightness of youth, its fallibility, but also its freedom and desire for experience. Two soulmates are separated on their journey on the treacherous highway of life. They have witness as society crumbled and in true punk fashion they aren’t holding their breath to be saved. The mantra “there is love in honour, and honour in love” carries them forward. Whether in this life or the next they have vowed to meet again at the pearly white gates of the Getty museum where they will live, like benevolent jungle queens.
